Green Valley Boat Works plans and kits are also available from Noahs Marine Supplies, from both their Canadian and US locations. They carry an extensive inventory of everything you need for 'your ark', and you'll find their knowledgeable staff very helpful in selecting the right products to complete your project.
Strips and kits for our canoes and kayaks are also available from Classic Boat Kits in Dunrobbin, Ontario. They can provide complete wood kits with all of the strips and other components for each of our canoe models. Their strips are probably the most precisely cut strips available anywhere, and they are bundled together in the same position as they were in the board, with 20 strips per bundle. Optional extras incude Slipstream yokes and seats. These kits are great time and money savers - even the strongback is included (it's the shipping box the kit comes in!). And the best part of all, the price is a lot less than you would expect. We think you'll be impressed! Note: our plans still must be ordered separately directly from us.
Want someone to build your Green Valley canoe or kayak for you? Then check out Hand Crafted Canoes in Kitchener, Ontario. They build fully licensed versions all of our most popular designs, at very reasonable prices. However, due to some copyright issues, the model names have been changed. So, to cross-reference our model names to theirs, our Kipawa is their "Grand," the Winisk is their "Nith," our Mattawa is their "Speed," the Dumoine is their "Maitland," and the Caspian Sea is their "Eagle Lake". They also make a really nice 3/4 scale version of the Eagle Lake for youngsters. Contact the proprietor James Gjesing.
Erik van Workens Winisk page is a 'must-see' for anyone contemplating building one of our canoes! This is an excellent reference site - check out Erik's Winisk Site product lineup.
