Green Valley is now a dealer for Navisafe LED Navigation Lights for canoes, kayaks, rowing shells, sailboats, and other small watercraft. These compact, waterproof high-powered lights are available in either 360 degree White, and in red, green and white, each with several selectable modes of operation. They operate on three AAA batteries, so there are no wires or external batteries needed.
Navisafe LED Lights are an absolute must if you're out on the water after dusk. They are visible for miles. They are so compact and handy that you can carry one in your PFD pocket for emergencies. The all white version even makes a handy area light at your camp, in your tent, car or trailer, or for many other temporary lighting needs.
Selection Advice: if you plan on putting one light on the bow and one on the stern, we recommend using two Nav-Light Red-Green-White lights. Set one to display only the white light pointing aft, and the other to display only the red and green forward. If you will use only one single light, then use the Navi-Light 360 degree. It shines a white light in all directions, so it is not suitable for use as a stern light.
There are also a range of attachments and mountings for all applications, but, with their magnetic bases and backing plate, they can attach almost anywhere, including on your hat, inside your tent, even in the trunk of your car. Read all about them on the Navi Safe web site.
